Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands – Kyocera Document Solutions Europe Management B.V., one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, has launched a new series of A4 colour printers and MFPs. These ECOSYS devices have entered the market to offer an enhanced user experience through an improved interface, cutting-edge security features, and seamless cloud connectivity.
These new ECOSYS desktop devices have a compact design, ideal for home workspaces, smaller offices, and individuals that require a simple, affordable solution with sophisticated capabilities. Users do not need to be technological experts to make the most of the latest ECOSYS releases – they come with 2.7 or 4.3” new touch panels, Wi-Fi easy setup, and the Kyocera Printer Setup Tool to make them easy to install and simple to use.
“We have heard the growing needs of our customers and innovated the next generation of ECOSYS devices to meet and surpass their expectations,” says Kyocera Document Solutions Europe Management B.V. president, Takuya Marubayashi. “With these new ECOSYS printers and multifunction devices, we reaffirm our commitment to sustainable product design and customer-centric innovation. They are built to last the test of time, facilitate more efficient workflows, and support remote and hybrid workers in this new digital era.”
The ECOSYS concept centres around the idea of producing printing devices that are not only ecological but economic too. Kyocera’s ECOSYS devices are built with long-life parts, making them sustainable and dependable. They are low-cost to run and maintain, with no drums or maintenance kits to worry about. They have a PCR (post-consumer recycled plastics) use rate of 5% or more in their main bodies (not in options and consumables) and they are delivered in environmentally friendly packaging. What’s more, they are compatible with Kyocera’s titanium dioxide-free toner, which was developed to be kinder to the environment.
The new devices are as follows:
A simple, affordable solution with sophisticated capabilities.”
On top of the enhanced user interface, compact design, and ecological benefits, the ECOSYS 2600 series also offers improved security to users. The enhanced security features include Allowlisting, Secure boot, RTIC (Run Time Integrity Check), SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), TLS1.3 support, SCEP (Simple Certificate Enrolment Protocol), an optional card authentication kit, and the optional Trusted Platform Module.
Moreover, with major cloud integration capabilities, these devices are designed to complement your existing workflows and fit into your secure cloud environment. Devices without the HyPAS platform can integrate seamlessly with Kyocera Cloud Access (KCA) and Kyocera Cloud Print and Scan (KCPS). When you install Kyocera’s ECOSYS devices and their accompanying software, you enjoy a safe, sustainable print environment that support digitalisation and higher productivity.
All our solutions integrate with one another to develop a more comprehensive, efficient, and secure print environment for your workplace. This new series of ECOSYS devices is the latest in a series of customer-first innovations by Kyocera that aims to streamline processes and help our customers make a difference.
